Upcoming HCA Events:
The Show Events Committee is in the process of considering sites for the 2025 National Specialty. If your local club would like to submit a site proposal, you can access the necessary information at the HCA website in the Show Events Committee Guidelines for Submitting National Specialty Proposals. If you have questions and/or suggestions concerning this process, please contact The Events Committee Chair. In addition, the board has approved a letter which contains all the information needed for a hotel to be considered for a specialty. It should be easier to vet the hotel with this information. If your club wants to plan a future event please contact the SEC Chair with your proposed dates. Remember we have to get Board approval and give AKC six months lead time in the application process.
The Show Events Mission Statement outlines the purposes of the Committee, and the Committee has adopted policies for the National Specialty, as well as Guidelines for Local Clubs holding HCA sponsored events.
